Handle

A set of ergonomic kitchen tools

The tools are intended primarily for people with arthritis and conditions in which fingers do not function. Made in collaboration with major hospitals in the country and tested on the relevant users.

The tools can be lifted without using the fingers and wrist and the hand movement in all the tools has reduced the load applied during use. The resulting movement is much more natural and the required strength comes from larger muscles.

There is a locking mechanism for changing the size to suit users and ensure safety while working.

Peeler

The shape design of the peeler focuses on the movement during the peeling operation and the knife can be easily adjusted to the right or left hand.

Knife

The knife’s design changes which muscles are required for cutting work. An option for linking the cutting board to the knife was tested. The connection gave great power to the cut, but was cumbersome and created an unwanted movement.

Shallow Pan

An ergonomic handle makes it effortless to hold the pan without the use of fingers. The handle is placed in optimal position for balance with the pan and in an easy movement, weight is transferred to other muscles.
